Three things. First, every prediction is SHA-256 hashed before the game starts, so the published record cannot be edited after the fact. Second, we do not assume one algorithm wins: training runs a bake-off across gradient-boosted trees and regularised logistic regression and ships whichever calibrates best on held-out data. Third, we publish what the model is and is not — the methodology page names every input, the current market coverage, and the calibration curve, including where it disappoints.

Once a day. A single scheduled run syncs odds, generates predictions and settles results, at 14:00 UTC. More frequent schedules are written and ready but need a hosting-plan upgrade to activate; we would rather tell you the cadence you actually get than the one we hope to run.

Yes. Our public track record page shows every prediction we have made, including wins, losses, and overall accuracy rates. Every entry is SHA-256 verified, so you can independently confirm that no picks were changed after the fact.

Two layers. The primary path runs a trained, calibrated model over 24 features per game. It currently covers NBA spread and moneyline markets. Everything else — NBA totals, and all NFL, MLB and NHL markets — is served by the second layer, a rule-based model built on team ratings and situational adjustments. Rule-based picks are marked Estimated wherever they appear and are excluded from the published track record.

Exactly 24 features, and the methodology page lists all of them: offensive, defensive and net ratings for both teams plus their differential; pace differential and expected total; rest days, rest advantage and back-to-back flags; wins in the last ten and current streak; home and away win rates; and four market inputs — spread, total, spread disagreement across books, and moneyline implied probability. Line-movement velocity, injuries, travel and head-to-head history are not currently among them.

Confidence is calibrated with Platt scaling on a held-out split, so a 70% pick is intended to win about 70% of the time. Whether it does is measured rather than asserted — the calibration page publishes the observed curve and Brier score against settled results, so you can check the claim instead of taking it.

At creation we hash a sorted-key JSON object of nine fields — game ID, prediction type, predicted outcome, confidence, reasoning, recommended odds, stake, model version and publish time — and store it before the game starts. Anyone can recompute it via /api/public/verify/[predictionId]. A match means the row has not changed since publication. It is a tamper-evident checksum, not a third-party timestamp: it proves internal consistency, not external witness.

The primary path loads a trained, calibrated model from a serialized file; it covers NBA spread and moneyline today. The fallback uses team ratings and situational adjustments rather than a trained model, and serves every other sport and market. Fallback picks are labelled Estimated on the card, carry a model version that identifies them as rule-based, and are excluded from the published track record — three independent ways to tell them apart.

Yes — new customers get a 7-day free trial on any paid plan, and you can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged. Returning subscribers resume without a second trial.

Absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments.

We process payments securely through Stripe, which supports all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe and never touches our servers.

Yes. You can change your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing, and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

We take a privacy-first approach. Your personal data is used solely to provide our service and is never sold to third parties. Authentication is handled by Clerk, a trusted identity provider, and payment processing is managed by Stripe. We only store the minimum data necessary to deliver predictions and maintain your account.

No. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data stays with us and is used exclusively to power your BetEdge AI experience.

We collect your email address and basic profile information for account management, your subscription and billing details (processed by Stripe), and your prediction usage data to enforce plan limits. We also collect anonymized analytics to improve our models and service. We do not observe your activity at sportsbooks. Bets you enter yourself in the Bet Tracker are stored in your account so we can show you your own results; they are never sold or shared.

You can request account deletion by contacting our support team. Upon request, we will remove your personal data from our systems in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Anonymized prediction data may be retained for model training purposes.
